Hi, I'm Krista Hernandez.
At Work
I'm a Holistic Wellness Coach & Consultant specializing in the mind-body connection. With 20+ years of personal experience in holistic healing, as well as a professional background in teaching & counseling, I empower women to heal chronic health issues in body, mind, & spirit.
At Home
I'm a New Jersey native who now calls Maryland home after 14 years of military life. When I'm not conducting wellness assessments or facilitating workshops, you'll find me curled up with a book & my three fur babies, kayaking with my husband, or upside down on my yoga mat.

Transforming Pain Into Power
When it comes to healing chronic health issues, there is no quick fix, and no one knows this better than I do. At the tender age of 12, my body erupted with severe hormonal imbalance, autoimmune disease, and skeletal problems. Motivated by an inner fire to live a full, vibrant life, I spent over two decades on a quest to get healthy. Through thousands of hours of mind-body modalities, years of study & work in complex trauma, and major mindset shifts & lifestyle changes, I succeeded in healing my mind & body - without dangerous prescription drugs & invasive surgeries.

And something magical happened on that healing journey. Over time, all the pain I endured was transformed into superpowers: mind-body awareness, resource management, energy consciousness, executive functioning, and motivation. Now I use these skills to educate, enlighten, and empower other women to reclaim control over their health and become their best selves.

Education & Background
Certification
Holistic Wellness Coaching
International Association of
Wellness Professionals
I always say that I've been coaching since I was 12, because I was technically my first client. But my coaching career officially began with a private coaching practice in my old office in Pasadena. Since then, my business has evolved from 100% one-on-one coaching to in-home consultative coaching & group facilitation. See my services page for details.
BA Sociology
Rider University
After college, I put my degree to use as a middle school teacher & addiction counselor.
Military Spouse
U.S. Air Force
In 14 years as a military spouse, I coordinated the many details of many moves, deployments, trainings, and all the logistical challenges that come with them. As a result, I became a master of executive functioning & resource management in every aspect of life.
